Medieval festival revived in Limassol

FOR a third consecutive year, the Limassol municipality invited locals and visitors to a unique night reviving the Middle Ages, complete with kings, knights, courtiers and jesters.  The Medieval festival takes place on Sunday at the municipal market, the site of the medieval castle.

Starting the festival will be the procession of the ‘royal family’ from the waterfront to the castle at 6.30 pm. The event continues with music, theatre, jugglers and a children’s art workshop.

The festival is organised in cooperation with the tourism development company of Limassol under the umbrella of international tourism day.
