Mother Greece

Stavros Xarchakos, one of the greatest Greek composers of the golden era of Greek music, will be performing as part of the Kypria 2015 festival on Tuesday in Limassol and Wednesday in Nicosia.

Xarchakos will present a series of his best known songs, the lyrics of which were written by acclaimed song writers, having so much to say about the difficult times we are going through today.

The unbelievable detail in harmony and instrumentation, the passion and feelings from the conductor and his orchestra, create a vital part of Greek music.

Joining the composer on stage will be Iro Saia, Zaharias Karounis and Neoklis Neophytides.
