Has there been a reversal of roles?????

Jasmine, my closest friend, has just “officially” left singleton town. Jasmine’s one of those girls that other girls envy and guys want to date. So she’s not entirely great to go out with, since she has a habit of detracting attention from me! But she just got a new boyfriend, and to be honest I think I preferred her when she was detracting attention from me. He is the biggest creepo ever. Not kidding!!!

It’s bad enough men have taken to pampering themselves with manipedis, fake tans and waxing but now their getting emotional on us. As women, don’t we have enough insecurities? is it really necessary to be dealing with men’s insecurities as well? Surely not!!! So for starters, after three dates Jasmine’s new man wrote a poem about how the sun shines out of her arse and on the fourth date he declared his love for her. I get it: Jasmine’s a very attractive girl. But a declaration of love and a poem after four dates! What is wrong with the guy? And it gets worse.

Apparently they went out last night. He got outrageously drunk, started telling her his deepest feelings then vomited. And to top it all off, he started crying!! Some women will think this type of behaviour is cute. Personally, I think it’s disgusting. What sort of “man” unleashes his insecurities, vomits and cries all in one night??? I just can’t even express my anger right now. What happened to the Humphrey Bogarts of this world???? Real Men!! Jasmine then tells me “I’m starting to feel a bit smothered, I think this guy might be a bit to full on” Really?? You mean the warning signs weren’t there after he wrote you a poem and told you he loved you on date four!!! I know women complain that there are no good guys, but surely this guy is too much?
