New services available at post offices

Additional services are now available to the public at post offices.

The four district post offices, Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos will now provide services currently covered by the civil registry and migration department.

They already assist with services traditionally provided by the labour, finance, and health ministries, and the department of road transport.

According to communications minister Marios Demetriades, the ministry is contemplating expanding the service network in other post offices within 2016, mainly in rural areas, as a way of improving economic growth and social cohesion.
