Koshi fire under control

IT took three fire trucks to completely obliterate a fire near Kato Lakkos forest at Koshi area in the sweltering heat on Thursday at about 2pm.

According to the forestry department, the fire started while garbage was being burnt for the collection of metals.

There were 11 fire fighters at the scene putting the fire under control some 20 minutes later after it burnt three decares of land and shrub.
