Cybarco: a 70 year success story

2015 is a significant milestone for Cybarco. It marks the 70th year of a distinguished and successful history as one of the largest construction and real estate development companies in Cyprus.

A member of the Lanitis Group of Companies, Cybarco’s Contracting and Development divisions have been responsible for the fruition and the development of large and high quality projects both in Cyprus and abroad during its 70 years of business. With its background and experience in the construction sector and in innovative real estate development, Cybarco is behind many of the island’s landmark projects. Nicosia’s International Airport, Lanitio Gymnasium of Limassol, Larnaca Refineries, the Southern Conveyor, the Intercity road of Limassol – Paphos, the Sewerage System of Limassol, the Germasogeia Dam, Aphrodite Hills, The Oval and Limassol Marina are just a few of the large infrastructure projects bearing the signature of Cybarco. Bahrain’s National Theatre, the airport in Doha, Qatar, and Kuwait’s National Museum are also part of Cybarco’s portfolio abroad.

As stated by Mr. Marios Lanitis, Vice Chairman of Cybarco’s Board of Directors, at a press event to celebrate the company’s 70 year anniversary, “in addition to the wider contribution of the aforementioned works  to the Cyprus economy and society, I would also like to note the practical contribution of the company to our country through the thousands of jobs it has created in the past and continues to create today, through the successful attraction of foreign investment in Cyprus as well as the successful representation of Cypriot entrepreneurship abroad”.
