Polis rescue drill

A RESCUE drill conducted on Monday morning in Akamas forest was successful, authorities said.

Participants in the exercise held from 7:30am to 1:30pm included members of the Polis police station, civil defence, fire services, volunteers, forestry department, as well as medical and nursing staff of the Polis hospital.

A representative of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation observed the drill.
