Treasure hunting

Every Saturday from 8am until 4pm, the municipal market in Nicosia hosts a bazaar with many different items to admire, and an equal amount of things to buy.

Tomorrow will be no different. If you are a fan of the vintage feel, get ready to say a few OMGs because some vendors will definitely bring a ‘blast from the past’ feel to things.

Then again, if you are a little arts and craftsy, then you will glad to know that the bazaar will be packed with handmade jewellery, hats and bags, and other bibs and bobs to decorate your home.

Viewing and shopping are not the only activities you can get up to, for added value, all that walking around the stalls will give you a bit of exercise, plus, the old town is right there at your feet, as it were. So why not take a stroll through it and make a day of treasure hunting a complete adventure.
