A look back in music

After showing Limassol a good time with a performance of many musical numbers, the Diastasis Cultural Association will be spreading the musical atmosphere in Nicosia on Saturday.

The event, which the cultural association is organising to celebrate 30 years since its establishment, will feature its vocal ensemble, children’s choir and dance group. But the music doesn’t end there, there will also be a few guest soloists on stage, including Doros Demosthenous, Riana Athanasiou and Stefanos Gerogiades. While the soloists will take care of the singing, the music will be made by Manolis Neophytou on the piano, Doros Panayiotou on percussion and Michalis Karkatsanis on the accordion.

Music Project is not just a musical event, it is a chance for the association to revisit most of the music they have performed over the years. It is also an opportunity for new audiences to hear the pieces for the first time.
