Arrest after child porn video uploaded to social media

Police on Saturday arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Acting on information from Europol that a specific account uploaded a video on social media showing the sexual abuse of a minor, police identified the man as the user of that account.

He was arrested at around 10am following a search of his home.

During the search police confiscated a mobile phone that will be further investigated.
