Remand for suspect in theft of dogs worth €20,000

A 33-year-old man from Larnaca was remanded on Friday for three days in connection with a case concerning the theft of four hunting dogs worth €20,000 from a Xylofagou resident.

The owner reported on Thursday that his four dogs, greyhounds and pointers, worth in total €20,000 were stolen.

Police said they secured information against a 33-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the case.

He was taken before the Famagusta district court that ordered his three-day remand.
