Astronomy evening postponed due to Covid spike

An evening of astronomy that was due to take place at the new Nicosia town hall on Sunday with special access and facilities for the disabled has been postponed, it was announced on Saturday.

According to the organisers, due to the increased number of cases of coronavirus in recent days and for the protection of public health, the event has been postponed.

“We will be back when the pandemic is over,” the organisers said.
