Anastasiades speaks on phone with Netanyahu

The leaders of Cyprus and Israel spoke on the phone on Thursday, reaffirming the two governments’ strong relations.

In a Twitter post, government spokesman Prodromos Prodromou said Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu replied by phone to Nicos Anastasiades’ letter congratulating Netanyahu on his re-election.

During the conversation, Netanyahu “reiterated his commitment to a strong relationship, common will for strategic cooperation for peace, security & stability in our region, as well as in the energy sector.”
