Three held for car theft

THREE persons were on Monday remanded in custody in connection with the theft of a car in Limassol.

The vehicle in question, valued at around €700, was stolen on February 7 to 8 from the drive-in of the owner’s house.

Following a complaint filed by the owner, police over the weekend located the car parked near the residence of a 30-year-old man.

Police searched the man’s residence, where they found a number of parts that were removed from the stolen vehicle.

Investigations also led to two other persons, aged 44 and 49.

All three were arrested, and have been remanded in custody for three days.
