Man dies in balcony fall

A 47-year-old Bulgarian man was killed on Saturday after falling from a second-floor balcony in Paralimni.

Police said the man felt ill and did not go to work on Saturday. Just before 12pm, his wife found him lying on the ground in front of the apartment block where he lived for the past two years.

The man was rushed to Paralimni hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have ruled out foul play but were looking into the circumstances of the man’s fall.
