Hunters fined for using bird sound machines

The Game Service on Wednesday fined two hunters €500 each after they were caught in Paphos with bird sound machines.

The two men were caught hunting in the morning at two locations in Paphos with the use of bird sound devices. The first one was caught at 8.30am in the Rimia area, near Lysos, and the second one 30 minutes later at Vretsia.

The pair were taken to the nearest police stations where they were fined.

It follows the arrest of two other hunters a few days ago at Panayia and Polis who were also using bird sound devices. They too were fined €500 each.
