Remand for drugs case

Nicosia District Court on Sunday issued a five-day remand order against Alexis Mavromichalis, aka Alexoui, 40, in connection with a drugs case.

According to the police, he was arrested with a warrant as a suspect in a case involving the finding and seizure of more than 2kg of cannabis and 700g of cocaine in a flat in Nicosia.

For the same case two men aged 26 and 24 are already being held in police custody, after having eight-day remand orders issued against them on Wednesday.
