Nicosia-Limassol highway closed near Alambra after collision

Police warned on Sunday evening that the Nicosia-Limassol highway was closed in the direction of Limassol near Alambra after an accident.

They said a truck and car had collided shortly after 5.30pm. They did not say if there were deaths or injuries, only that the truck overturned and that all lanes were blocked.

Drivers, they said, must exit the highway at Alambra and return from another entry point.
