Car spare parts worth €4,000 destroyed by fire

Various car spare parts valued at around €4,000 were destroyed by a fire late on Sunday in Mosfiloti while they were in a small trailer attached to a van.

At around 10am Kofinou disaster response unit EMAK was notified that a fire had started in a closed-off area in Mosfiloti.

Fire-fighters from Larnaca and officers from EMAK helped extinguish the blaze but not before various spare parts, valued at around €4,000 were destroyed.

The area was closed off by police and the fire service who will investigate the case.
