Doctor 93, receives European Citizen’s Award 2017

Dr Amerikos Argyriou, a pediatrician has received the European Citizen’s Award 2017 after he was nominated for dedicating his career towards helping children with learning disabilities and founding the Theotokos foundation in Limassol in 1969 to serve that purpose. Despite being 93 years-old his nominee said he works tirelessly, while Argyriou said he still couldn’t grasp the magnitude of the award he had received
