Heavy snowfall in Troodos, view skilift webcam

THERE is extremely limited visibility in the Troodos area due to heavy snowfall and drivers are asked to be particularly careful, police warned on Thursday morning.

All roads in the area are open only to vehicles only with snow chains or four-wheel drives, police announced.

The weather forecast for inland appears mainly clear. Temperatures are expected to rise to 15C inland, 17C to 19C in coastal areas and 5C in the mountains. In the evening, frost is forecast for the mountains but temperatures will rise again on Friday and Saturday.
