Star light, star bright

As of tomorrow, Apocalypse Gallery in Nicosia will showcase a special Christmas group exhibition under the name With a Star for Everyone.

The exhibition is a celebration of Christmas and of diversity in art. Within the display the viewer can see large and small works of arts created by a number of artists who have become part of the Apocalypse Gallery’s family.

Among the pieces to be shown will be 80 painted plates by Anna Varella. These creations are made by acrylic paint on glass or clay plates. The subject on each plate is decided according to the size of the plate.

There will also be paintings on canvas, sculptures, ceramics and other smaller pieces on sale.

Other artists taking part are Lia Vogiatzi, Spyros Agathou, Antonis Neofitou, Andreas Nikolaou, Miriam McConnon, Anna Vasiliou, Savvas Georgiades, Christos Polidorou and others.

The gallery also invites artists and art lovers to join them for breakfast from 10.30am until 2pm. Also tomorrow, everyone who visits the gallery can take part in a raffle for four silkscreens created by the late Stass Paraskos. The winners of the raffle will be announced at 1pm.
