Eurozone ministers will discuss Cyprus post-programme surveillance on November 7

Eurozone ministers will be informed on the findings of the first post-programme surveillance mission to Cyprus, which took place at the end of September, and on the findings of the 6th post-programme surveillance mission to Spain, which took place mid-October 2016, according to the official Eurogroup agenda disclosed on Thursday in Brussels.

The 19 eurozone members will be also briefed on the preliminary results of a recent review mission to Athens in the context of the ongoing second review of Greece`s financial assistance programme, including report on the technical assistance provided to the Greek authorities to date by the European Commission`s structural reform support service (SRSS).

The Eurogroup will also hear a presentation by Danièle Nouy, the Chair of the European Central Bank`s Supervisory Board, on Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) activities since April 2016. Right after that, chair of the Single Resolution Board, Elke König, will inform the Eurogroup on the Board`s activities to date. These presentations are held regularly every year.

Ministers will hold a follow-up discussion on national insolvency frameworks.  the European Central Bank will inform the Council of their assessment of recent inflation developments in the euro area.
