Spreading the Christmas spirit in Aglanjia

With just a few days left before the big day, spreading the holiday spirit is a little more difficult than previous years, but Aglanjia Municipality has organised something special. A festive Christmas truck is roaming the streets of the municipality between 5 and 9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday with Santa offering gifts to children.

The activity started on Monday with Santa driving around the area, stopping at houses where children stood outside waiting to receive a gift. On Tuesday Santa’s truck will set off from Kentaurou street before visiting Kefallinias street, Archibishop Makariou, Aristotelous, Andrea Kalvou, Ikarou, Aglantzias Avenue, Aphrodites, Akropoleos Street, Dionysiou Solomou, Saint Sofia’s street, Saint Paraskevis, Polymnias, Agapis, Pentadaktylou, Melpomenis, Kalliopis, Germanou Patron, Ammochostos avenue, Larnakos avenue and finally, Athenas Street.

On Wednesday, the last day of the initiative, the Christmas truck will begin its journey at Athalassas avenue and move down to Olympou street, Costa Loizou, Omonoias, Michalaki Zamba, Axiotheas, Protomagias street, Katharis, Gogou Paraskevaide, Tenedou, Lymnou Mykonou, Stadiou, Charalambou Pettemeride, Kosta Peleidi, Ivis, Ledras, Steliou Massini, Attalou, Plouti Serva and finish at Andrea Ziartidi street.

“All those young smiles deserve the biggest and brightest Santa truck they have ever seen,” said Aglanjia Municipality before thanking Vienna Bakeries, Thinkcolour LTD and Televantos Cars for their support. Aglanjia, Santa’s on his way!
