A pop-up event for curlyheads

It only launched a few months ago yet Boucles Project, selling everything curly hair needs, is booming! It’s no surprise really as curly girls and guys are well represented in Cyprus. Without a physical store as yet, Boucles Project works as an e-shop yet this December it’s holding two pop-up events in Limassol and Nicosia just in time for Christmas shopping.

All sorts of plant-based and sulphate-free curly hair products will be on sale with founder Sama Meibar ready to share her vast knowledge on how to care for your curls. The first event is coming up on Saturday, December 19, at the Make Up School by Melina Michail in Limassol and it’s a hair and make-up deal. The event is taking place in collaboration with the make-up school where Melina also sells Affect Cosmetics. From 10am to 2pm and then from 4pm to 7pm Sama will be there to help pick out gifts for your curly haired friends, or yourself.

Both of the month’s events are kid-friendly as Boucles Project has a curly hair line specifically for kids so bringing your little one along can help in finding the right product for their curls. Sama always looks at each customer’s hair and specific needs before suggesting creams, gels and general hair-care tips.

In Nicosia, the event will be a four-day extravaganza starting on Christmas Eve. Hosted at Strange Days, Boucles Project will set up camp at the bar on December 24, 26, 29 and 30, inviting Nicosia residents to explore more options on how to embrace and take care of their curls. The premise here is the same – explore the products, chat with the very-knowledgeable Sama and find suitable products.

Strange Days will be serving tacos, bagels, burgers, coffees and drinks to add to the days’ festive feel, but for takeaway.
