Lyon: a UNESCO World Heritage city to be savoured

This video takes a pre-Covid look at beautiful Lyon, France’s third-largest city, and one of the country’s oldest.

Of particular note is its large historic centre, Le Vieux Lyon, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site boasting the largest ensemble of Renaissance buildings in Europe. Lyon is also reputed to be France’s gourmet capital, with foodies finding ample opportunity to celebrate the art of cooking.

Ultimately, while Lyon’s historic and cultural attractions are only highlighted here, they deserve to be savoured at leisure… just as soon as travelling becomes less fraught with Corona restrictions.
