Discovering the Christmas cards of surrealist Salvador Dalí

In this video, Dalí Museum curator of education Peter Tush explores the Spanish surrealist artist’s fascinating, outrageous, yet little-known Fifties Christmas card design projects for Hallmark Cards, and for Barcelona-based company Hoechst Ibérica.

As befits the rest of Salvador Dalí’s body of work, the cards are decorative, decadent and unforgettable.
