The health benefits of rebounding exercise

NASA has done a lot of research on rebounding exercise, with the intention of keeping astronauts as healthy as possible while away from their home planet. This is because spending time in space without gravity, leaves a human body vulnerable to bone and muscle tissue loss.

Rebounding exercise – essentially jumping on a trampoline – is designed to counter these problems, assuming it is implemented with care and, where needed, with the benefit of a guard-rail for additional safety.

The benefits of rebounding include improved mobility, better posture and balance, reduced fears of falling, fewer chances of developing osteoporosis and the stimulation of the thyroid and lymphatic system. Good not just for astronauts, but for people of all ages – especially middle-aged individuals and seniors.
