Coronavirus: PCR tests for workers crossing roadblocks to continue Monday and Tuesday

The programme to check workers who need to move in to, out of or between Limassol and Paphos for coronavirus will continue over the next few days because of the large demand, the health ministry said on Sunday.

CPR tests for those who are deemed exempt from the ban on movement will continue on Monday and Tuesday, the ministry said.

Those passing through the roadblocks set up to prevent free movement will as of Wednesday also need to provide a negative CPR test.

Tests can be taken either in the district where the worker lives or where he or she is going to.

The relevant moves have been made to make sure that there are enough tests available in all areas, the ministry said.

Tests can be taken at the following places:

Nicosia: Bioanalysis Clinical Lab, Crete street, Tel: 8001 2112, 22 263030. From 8am to 1pm.

Limassol: Bioanalysis Clinical Lab, Ayias Fylas, Tel: 8001 2112, 22 263030. 2pm to 7pm
