Stabbing on Limassol building site

A 20-year-old foreign national was admitted to hospital with a stab wound on Saturday after he was attacked during a row in Limassol.

The stabbing took place on Saturday morning during a row between a group of around 10 men working on a construction site in Yermasoyia, in Limassol.

According to police, the incident took place at around 10 am when a row started after a misunderstanding. During the row, one of the workers stabbed one of his colleagues with a knife in the shoulder blade.

The victim was transferred to the Limassol general hospital where he was admitted for surgery. His condition is serious.

Police are searching for the whereabouts of the man who stabbed the victim.
