Russian artist to express herself with anOther Voice

Cyprus-based Russian artist and writer Ludmila Budanov will host an exhibition later this week called Other Voice. This isn’t her first artistic showcase as she has presented her art on the island numerous times in the past, as well as in Germany, Spain, China and even Taiwan.

Her new series of paintings will be presented at Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades in Omodos this coming Friday, October 16. The exhibition will last just three days and the winery seems to be a good fit for her art as the artist describes her work “like the grapes and the wine… through the years they are getting mature, elegant, stylish and tastier and more valuable.”

Her painting technique is thought to be unique and her works are in private collections from America to Australia. Though painting isn’t the only skill under Ludmila’s belt. She is a professionally trained musician who has been living in Cyprus for almost two decades. For her upcoming showcase however, she invites the public to enjoy art and wine simultaneously with free wine tasting from the winery.
