Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s summer concerts cancelled

“A summer without Eleftheria isn’t possible.” That’s what her fans were saying, because Cyprus hosts Greek singer Eleftheria Arvanitaki almost every summer. The tradition was not going to be broken this summer either as the singer had two concerts planned. However, an unfortunate accident changed the plans.

Just a few days before her performances on August 31 and September 1, the organisers announced that Arvanitaki had a small accident which left her with a terrible sprain. Following her doctor’s orders, she had to, unfortunately, cancel her Cyprus concerts.

“I’m sure that when we meet again the feeling will be as strong as ever,” the singer commented. “We will be back soon with news about when we will meet again.” Until then, Arvanitaki’s fans will have to be patient and wait.
