Paphos police investigating attempted murder

Paphos police are investigating a case of attempted murder, after a 21-year-old was stabbed in the chest on Friday.

According to the police, the 21-year-old was transferred to the Paphos general hospital where he received surgery, after which doctors said his condition was stable.

Police have issued an arrest warrant against a 24-year-old, who is believed to have stabbed the 21-year-old resident of Polis Chrysochous during a confrontation.
