Expats’ healthcare cover in Cyprus to continue temporarily in a no-deal Brexit

Cyprus and Britain have agreed that British nationals on the island would continue to access the same healthcare cover they currently enjoy for several months even if there is a no-deal Brexit.

According to the British High Commission, Britons in Cyprus will continue to have healthcare coverage for an interim period of several months.

At the end of that period, UK and Cyprus will seek a longer-term bilateral agreement to secure reciprocal healthcare for Britons in Cyprus and Cypriots in the UK.

The BHC thanked the Cypriot authorities for continuing to safeguard the rights of British citizens on the island.
