A quest through Nicosia’s streets

Something to write with, a pair of comfortable shoes and a good attitude is all you need to be part of the Nicosia Street Quest. A game that plays out around the streets of Nicosia has you running around answering questions, discovering all of the nooks and crannies of the town. The first event on the 2019 edition is coming up tomorrow and its quest is to navigate up to 20 locations within walled Nicosia and answer a simple, non-cryptic question at each location.

These are usually along the lines of ‘what is the colour of the door at number 18?’ or ‘how many mannequins in the shop window?’ and so on. Each question is worth either 10, 20 or 30 points with a bonus question worth 50 points. You have 60 minutes to complete the quest and if you’re late there will be a 5 penalty point for every minute late.

Seeing as the event will happen at night, bring a torch with you to make studying the map which will be handed out easier. The meeting point is at Severis CVAR Foundation and registration opens at 6.30pm and closes at 7.45pm. Start times will be available half an hour earlier at 6.30pm for people with school children, all others between 7pm and 8pm.

The winners will get a 25% off gift voucher from Holland and Barrett, which is sponsoring the event.
