Job fair promises to offer opportunities

While unemployment numbers in Cyprus are falling there are still many who struggle to find themselves a job, in addition to young people unsure of which way is right for them. If you fall into either of these groups you may interested in the Get a Job Fair on Tuesday.

Organised by the European Commission in Cyprus and EURES (European Employment Services) network, the main objective of the fair is to bring together employers from Cyprus and abroad to inform young people about current and future employment opportunities. The fair further aims to promote the role of the European Union in boosting jobs, growth and investment in young people.

Participants will be offered the chance to learn about traineeship, voluntary work, education and employment mobility opportunities that are available to them. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to network with potential future employers, to meet them in person, and have a one-on-one interview with them.

The fair is addressed to the unemployed, young people not in education or training, high school graduates, higher education graduates, postgraduate students and generally jobseekers looking for a job.
