Avdimou fire under control

The fire service scrambled on Saturday and managed to bring under control a blaze in an area between Avdimou and Prastio in Limassol before it spread.

The fire service used four engines, two small airplanes and two helicopters to put out the fire, which burned around one hectare of dry grass, wild shrub, and carob trees.
