Akel leader in hospital

The general secretary of main opposition Akel, Andros Kyprianou, was rushed to hospital on Sunday afternoon after complaining of feeling unwell while in parliament to attend the House plenary session.

He was escorted to hospital by Akel MP, Adamos Adamou, who is a doctor.

According to reports, his attending doctors said there is no reason for concern.
