Baghdatis knocked out in second round

Marcos Baghdatis has been knocked out of Wimbledon after a thrilling match, the Cypriot going down three sets to two to Karen Khachanov.

The Russian won the first two sets 6-3 6-4 before Baghdatis fought back to win the third 6-3.

It looked as though Khachanov was set to seal the win when he broke Baghdatis in the fourth set and the Russian served for the match when leading 5-3.

But the Cypriot wasn’t giving up and broke back, taking the set to a tie-break which he won 7-4

The deciding fifth set went with serve for the first 10 games before Khachanov broke the Cypriot to take the set 7-5 and the match after three hours and 15 minutes on Court 18.
