Brushes and light

The online magazine Skala Times will award artist Petros Ptohopoulos with the Skala Times Artist of the Year prize on Friday, while also opening the artist’s solo exhibition under the name Petros Ptohopoulos 45 Years of Brushes and Light.

The award ceremony will take place at 7.15pm at Apothikes 79 in Larnaca, while the exhibition will be opened at 7.30pm.

Ptohopoulos studied at the Weder School of Arts in Switzerland. After he returned to Cyprus, he set up his own art workshop, preparing students for the Fine Arts Academy of Athens. His works are inspired by history and the Greek civilisation of Cyprus.
