Louis sells Aegean Queen

Leisure services provider Louis Plc said that it sold its cruise ship “m/v Aegean Queen” to an unspecified company abroad.

“The sale has resulted in an accounting profit of €856,000,” Louis said in a statement on the website of the Cyprus Stock Exchange on Monday.

The company, which twelve days ago announced that it resumed 100 per cent ownership of its subsidiary Celestyal Cruises Ltd following the completion of a loan restructuring agreement with its lenders, saw last year its after tax profit increase to €11.5m from €7.7m in 2016, partly on a €4.5m increase in the group’s turnover.
