Teaching staff to be leaders

With social media now at our fingertips we may think that communication is easy but the reality is so much different, especially in the work place. That is why Toastmasters will run an event during which participants will have the chance to learn from experienced Toastmasters from all over Europe.

Everyone wishes to be a leader in some way. Leaders, however, need to have one thing in common: the ability to communicate effectively and that is often a challenge. At Toastmasters, in the company of like-minded individuals, all attendees are given the opportunity to grow and improve in a supportive environment.

After regularly giving speeches, listening to constructive feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals, they emerge from the programme as leaders.

According to the organisation, due to the high level of interest recently in the opportunities offered by the Toastmasters programme, a special corporate event has been organised, during which guests will be able to interact with experienced Toastmasters from all over Europe as they demonstrate the value of embarking on this exciting journey of self-development.

The two-hour event on Friday at Semeli hotel in Nicosia, will begin with registration and welcome drink at 5pm. After the event participants will have the chance to network over coffee and snacks.
