Turks in north can vote in Turkish elections

Turkish passport holders in the north will be able to begin voting in the Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections starting from Saturday.

They will have three days to cast their votes between 9am and 9pm where voting booths have been set up in a primary school close to the Turkish ‘embassy’ in northern Nicosia.

Both the presidential and parliamentary elections will be held on June 24 in Turkey.

In case of a second round for either of the elections, the procedure will be repeated from June 30 until July 2.
