Missing man arrested in north

A 43-year-old man reported missing earlier this week has been arrested by authorities in the north for entering a military base, police announced on Wednesday.

The man from Famagusta had been reported missing on May 7.

In a bulletin, police said the 43-year-old man is being held in prison in the north.

The information to the government controlled areas of the man’s arrest came through a bi-communal committee.

No other details were immediately available.
