Police stations to accept debit/credit cards for fine payments

People will be able to pay police fines with credit or debit cards as of Thursday, the force announced on Tuesday.

According to the statement, card payment machines have been installed at all stations, the airports in Larnaca and Paphos, and the port of Limassol “as part of the modernisation framework, and to better serve the public.”

Members of the public will also be able to pay their fines through the internet soon, police added.
