Pensioner hit by car last month dies at Limassol hospital

Seventy-eight-year-old Sotiris Panayiotou who was in critical condition at the Limassol general hospital after he was hit by a car last month, died on Saturday.

Panayiotou was hit on November 19 by a car driven by a 25-year-old woman while he was crossing the Limassol to Erimi bypass, between the roundabouts of Ayios Athanasios and Mesa Geitonia. He was diagnosed with multiple injuries and was admitted to the ICU.
