Police issue weather warning for part of Limassol-Paphos highway

Due to torrential rain in the Limassol area, especially along the Limassol-Paphos highway near Karvounas, police warned there was an increased risk of traffic accidents as visibility was reduced and roads slippery.

“Drivers are encouraged to drive carefully at low speed with their hazard lights on, and keep a safe distance from the vehicles in front,” a police statement said.
