Larnaca may be small but one thing there will never be a shortage of is cafés and bars. And though many tend to head to the Makenzy Beach area at this time of year there are gems in the centre of town whose popularity remains constant.

Alchemies is an enchanting café situated in the heart of Larnaca’s Ermou square, which has become a hotbed for some of the best bars in town, and by night doubles up as one of the most vibrant places to go out. The Phinikoudes strip will always be the most iconic spot of Larnaca but it is no longer the only option when it comes to coffee with friends or even a drink at night.

One of a handful of popular establishments located in and around this square, Alchemies is steadily proving to be the most consistent. Firstly, in terms of food it has adapted to the healthy-living trend sweeping the town by offering food options that are kinder to the body and a fantastic touch by also displaying the nutritional value of each meal’s contents.

In the drinks department, the selection is even more impressive. As its name suggests, mixing and combining a variety of different drinks is their forte. There is a cozy indoor space which is air conditioned, and certainly has a more vibrant atmosphere at night when the music is on. So, whether you are going for a morning coffee or an evening drink, it is recommended that you head there earlier than the norm to avoid disappointment.
