Russian tourist injured in fight

A Russian tourist was attacked and injured at a hotel on the Larnaca to Dhekelia road on Thursday evening.

Police were notified at 7pm and when they arrived at the scene they found that a 47-year-old man had been pushed and had fallen during a fight with a 50-year-old man, also a tourist.

When he was examined at Larnaca general hospital he was diagnosed with a hip fracture.

The 50-year-old was questioned by police and released.
