Driver injures elderly woman in Paphos

AN 89-year-old woman is in intensive care after being hit by a car in Nata, Paphos, on Thursday evening.

The pedestrian was hit by a car driven by a 40-year-old man who was trying to reverse into a parking space at 7.30pm.

She was transferred to Paphos general hospital where she was diagnosed with a cerebral haemorrhage and a fractured arm and leg.
